Now Hiring: Social Media Marketing Manager

Saltworks Digital is a Salt Lake City-based marketing agency serving clients throughout Utah and North America. We’re looking for an experienced social media marketing manager to join our team.

As Social Media Marketing Manager for Saltworks, you would work closely with clients we represent in a variety of industries including recycling, culinary arts, financial services, hospitality/restaurants, and health insurance.

For this position, you’ll need to be proficient in the following:

  • Content conceptualization and copywriting
  • Graphic design (Photoshop or Canva)
  • Videography/video editing for social media
  • Photography/photo editing for social media
  • Social media planning and scheduling
  • Social media audience engagement and audience building
  • Social media reporting and analytics


  • Min. of 3-5 years of relevant experience and a track history of creating highly engaging content
  • Detail-oriented and a mastery of spelling and grammar
  • Ability to create content based on a defined marketing strategy and style guide
  • Ability to immerse yourself in research to understand our clients’ unique industries and the content that is relevant to their target audiences
  • Knowledgeable and up to date in different social trends and best practices
  • Ability to do long-term planning (via a yearly editorial calendar) and respond quickly to new developments
  • Ability to work closely with people across the organization throughout the planning and development of content
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and collaborative attitude
