California Center for Sustainable Energy

The California Center for Sustainable Energy needed a series of animations to help educate homeowners about how various solar hot water systems worked. Our friends at Second Star Communications asked us to help. The graphics needed to illustrate each system’s functionality quickly and clearly, which was a challenge given the complexity of some of the systems.

Saltworks’ design team developed custom graphics for the cutaway for the house and the solar hot water heating systems. Next, we animated the movement of the water and glycol within the systems.
